Based in our HQ and r eporting to the Lead Planning Officer, you will play a pivotal role in liaising across departments to enable 100% on time delivery for our customers. This is a varied and pivotal role in enabling our organisation to serve our customers to the highest standard. Duties will include: Creating and releasing work orders in accordance with MRP requirements Scheduling production and Warehouse work orders using capacity planner Highlighting any risk of delay in any shipment to Operations Manager Review and release purchase orders in timely manner Checking vendor acknowledgments against requested lead time Attending meetings to review workload plan and advising any changes Working with the Procurement team to prioritise and expedite as appropriate any part shortages that arise from the daily work schedule The successful candidate will ideally have proven experience in a planning role within a manufacturing background. You will be confident working autonomously, have an excellent work ethic and thrive in being organised whilst liaising across functions.
