Reporting to both the Technology Development and Embedded Control Team Leads, the Control and Electronics Engineer will be designing, developing, testing and maintaining Peak’s generators and embedded systems. You will identify and fix technical issues, working collaboratively with engineers, product managers, and others on various Peak teams.  The successful candidate will be a strong team player, self-motivated and able to complete work with minimal assistance. Some of your duties will include: Designing and building embedded systems, including embedded system firmware Testing and debugging embedded systems Monitoring and maintaining the system after development Improving system efficiency and stability after development Collaborating with customers and other departments to create systems based on their needs Assisting in the development of production processes and procedures Liaising with other departments to ensure continuity of manufacturing process You’ll have a degree in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering and ideally some experience in a controls/electronics focused role. You’ll also have experience in embedded systems development, debugging and trouble-shooting and programme creation using MATLAB / Simulink. You will also possess: Significant programming experience in C, or C++ Experience of Altium Design - Schematic capture, PCB Layout Proficiency in working with common embedded systems communication protocols Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Desire and ability to work on their own effectively and with a collaborative approach This role will be challenging and fast-paced as well as rewarding and engaging. The Service Administrator is a pivotal role in achieving the smooth running of the EMEA service operation. It requires good organisation skills as well as the ability to deal with customers in a professional and conscientious manner. You will also act as the link between various departments in which it is critical in transferring information whilst ensuring effective communication and customer satisfaction. Working alongside the service delivery, sales, order processing, logistics and operation teams you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers are receiving the correct spare parts and service visit within their expected time frame. Your duties will include: Processing maintenance kit orders for shipping to customer site Contacting customers to arrange maintenance visits in a timely manner Updating department scheduler to reflect field maintenance schedule Co-ordinating and organising field service engineer work Dealing with customer service enquiries by telephone, and e-mail in a prompt and efficient manner Raising purchase orders for stock and invoices for service jobs as required General administration tasks and sales order processing You will get involved in a variety of administrative tasks and be comfortable using Microsoft Office. It would be advantageous if you have previous experience of using SAP B1, but more importantly, you’ll have a positive can-do approach with the aptitude to learn. We are recruiting a self-motivated Technical Support Specialist who is fluent in English and German who will be responsible for providing a high level of technical support to the large network of Peak customers, distributors and OEMs across EMEA. Managing the technical support workload ensuring that emails and phone calls are prioritised in order of urgency and responded to within agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA). Please note that this is not an IT related role. Duties include: Providing technical support in conjunction with the service management system (SMS) Responding to all incoming technical enquiries (telephone and email) in a professional, prompt and efficient manner to ensure total customer satisfaction In conjunction with Service Managers, ensuring all phone calls resulting in Field Service Engineer (FSE) on site assistance are responded to and organised within SLA of 2 hours Using SMS, ensuring all relevant field visit data is captured by FSEs with system generated visit reports being promptly sent to customers Working closely with the FSE’s, ensuring cost effective and efficient planning of the monthly workload ensuring that any breakdown visit meets the customer response time SLA This role would suit someone who is customer driven with an interest in Technical support or experience of mechanical/ electrical fault diagnosis. You will have exceptional communication skills and proficiency in German would be highly advantageous.
