Work Pattern: Full time, permanent role with hybrid working 3 days in the office/2 days working from home    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Finance Business Partner for EMEA to make a significant contribution to the growth of our award–winning, global technology manufacturing business. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner for EMEA, your main responsibility is to assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations for multiple group entities. You will also provide support with the preparation of VAT returns, ad hoc compliance work and acting as a key support to different departments across our global business. In addition your key tasks will include – Assisting with monthly management accounts reporting packs for several group entities, inclusive of provision of quality in-depth insight and analysis Assisting with statutory financial statements, ensuring correct compliance with relevant accounting standards Responsibility for general ledger accounting, including processing of accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue, tax etc. Ensuring the accuracy of turnover recorded though analysing order and delivery through to invoice and cash Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations Preparation of ancillary returns including VAT, EC Sales List, and Intrastat Preparation of information required for tax returns Playing a key part in the future of the new finance systems implementation globally Implementing, ensuring compliance and providing support on global policies, procedures, guidance documents and internal controls across several group entities. You will be a Qualified accountant or studying for a relevant accounting qualification; adaptable and resilient, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be responsive to business change. You will also have: Been working as a Finance Assistant or a similar role Knowledge and working experience of ERP system Experience of working with SAP would be beneficial Strong team player who has the skills to work across different cultures and personalities. Accounts Payable and Expenses Manager Work Pattern: Full time, permanent role with hybrid working 3 days in the office/2 days working from home    As a result of an internal move, an opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable and Expenses Manager to manage the UK Accounts Payable team (circa 3).  Reporting to the UK Financial Controller , you will be responsible for UK payments for all purchase invoices, implementing a Purchase to Pay policy and managing foreign payments for multiple entities. In addition you will be responsible for: Providing information on expected cash payments for the purposes of cash flow reporting and meeting FX hedging requirements Providing weekly reports of amounts outstanding on an aged basis with commentary on status and next steps Managing agreed escalation process for accounts payable including the communications and actions required for problem accounts Undertaking complex reconciliations when required to agree balances due to suppliers Assisting the wider Finance team with Accounts Payable related queries and concerns Ensuring that month end reporting from Concur is issued in a timely and accurate manner The successful candidate will have overall AP finance process knowledge and experience including reconciliations and management of expense management systems and policies. Ideally you will have previous experience of working within a fast-paced engineering environment. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for executing the production  plan for defined products in our Head Quarter production areas.  You will be an experienced leader who will drive continuous improvement to ensure efficiently, on time delivery and quality targets are met with effective management of all resources (4M). Duties will include: Managing the supervision of a skilled and semiskilled labour force to meet daily rates of production output Managing resources to meet daily schedules, priorities, quality, and efficiency of manufacturing Collaborating with the Training Team to develop a Centre of Excellence for technical operator training and Continuous Improvement culture Providing the Operations Manager with defined daily/weekly/monthly figures linked to budgetary control and use of resourced with an emphasis on cost control and efficiency Managing manufacturing leadership, including goal setting, improvement targets for KPI's, performance management Partnering with Manufacturing Engineering to develop processes and procedures to enhance  Performance Identifying and executing opportunities for continuous improvement by using Lean manufacturing tools and cross functional working The successful candidate will ideally have a bachelor’s degree in a manufacturing related field and/or Lean Sig Sigma Green Belt. Reporting to the Global Service Sales Manager, this role will be responsible for install base accuracy in various Databases. You will respond to our customers in a timely manner and be responsible for updating customer details in our business systems. This role will suit and excite someone who is an excel wizard, thrives in handling data and is confident with IT. You will be pro-active, committed to seeing tasks through to completion and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Duties will include: Managing two different business systems simultaneously SAB B1 and SAP Hana S4 Responding back to customers for all inbound generator warranty / activation registrations and keeping records   Updating New Business Accounts against products sold. Processing all inbound generator warranties / activation data to update system with correct end user and those will act as business opportunity for regional service sales teams Processing all OEM generators install base monthly reports to ensure it’s updated in the system to drive sales and service delivery teams Processing all existing data from regions to ensure its updated in the global business system Initially supporting regional teams with onboarding new business system (SAP B1.) The successful candidate will ideally be a Graduate with a minimum of 2 years’ experience managing large customer list / database with experience of working in a capital equipment install base or fleet management role. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will be the Ambassador for Peak Supplier Relationship Management and responsible for developing and delivering effective category management purchasing strategies. Your duties will include: Develop and deliver effective category management purchasing strategies with set review periods – (i.e. Outsourcing, insourcing, vertically integrating etc, Kraljic Analysis).
