You will understand the key function within the warehouse environment such as goods in/stow, picking and packing and ensure the team maintain high quality standards. You will take pride in the performance of your team with a drive to make continuous improvements.
Your duties will also include:
Overseeing day-to-day teams' operation and performance and deputising for the Supervisor in their absence
Advocating and practicing the ‘6S Lean’ methodology
Delegating tasks and setting realistic objectives and deadlines
Driving activity to meet KPI’s and exigent material requirements
Working with training department to create a cross functional/multi skilled team
Carrying out Inventory Stock counts as directed in line with the Cyclic Plan
Maintaining Health & Safety standards and ensuring Warehouse security integrity is maintained
You will have experience in Warehousing and Inventory Management with strong people management skills. This role requires someone who is computer literate ( Microsoft Office, SAP etc) and it would be advantageous if you have a driving license and Forklift – Counterbalance License.

In this role, your primary focus will be to support the lead to order process for Generators, Maintenance Contracts and Service Spares orders. Using your initiative, you’ll be ensuring order acknowledgement of customer purchase orders and managing all related correspondence with Sales and internal Peak functions. The Sales Order Specialist will have a desire to meet team KPI’s and company objectives.
Your duties will include:
Providing seamless management of daily generator, contract and service spares orders contributing to accurate and timely processing of purchase orders, with particular focus on fulfilment and turnaround time
Working in line with global and corporate pricelists across key accounts and multiple currencies throughout the Peak network ensuring the correct product lead-time is applied
Collaborating with global offices and developing close working relationships across internal departments such as Sales, Service, Product Management, Planning, Logistics and Finance
Liaising daily with the global sales and service team ensuring the accuracy of purchase order information and communicating any quotation, pricing or process discrepancies to salesperson
Ideally, you’ll have order processing and SAP experience in addition to being competent using Microsoft packages and working from a ticket system such as Zendesk. You will be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a flexible approach. This will suit someone with a keen attention to detail, a pro-active work ethic and the ability to take responsibility and ownership of multiple tasks driving through to completion. The successful candidate will be a problem solver who can find solutions to urgent requests and challenge discrepancies where necessary.
