Reporting to the Global Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, this will be a key role in contributing to our continued growth as a leading innovator in the design, manufacture and support of high performance gas generators.
You will be responsible for:
Managing and Developing Logistical Geographical Hubs
Leading the Global Strategy for Cost Effective Logistics, Optimised Transport Routes and Storage Levels
End to End Reporting of Logistics Costs and Logistical KPI’s with YoY Improvements
Managing the Global Supply Chain Data Compliance and Global Logistical Regulatory Compliance
Maintaining Global Business Process Flows (Visio)
Managing Consigned materials for OEM customers globally
Ideally you will have +5 years experience in a similar role and qualifications and experience such as CILT, BIFA, CIPS, Inward Processing, Auditing and SAP proficiency are preferential. You will have demonstrable experience in Logistical Change Management and in leading a team to deliver.
You will also possess:
Experience of Global Import / Export – HRMC & Global Custom regulations
High System Literacy and Effective Reporting (SAP, Excel, etc.)
Effective Time Management, Organisational and Team Building Skills

You must have a proven track record in a similar role of leading and driving teams in a fast-paced Engineering environment (in a £100M+ company), with knowledge of engineering best practices including Design for Manufacture and Design for Assembly and opportunities for engineering patents. Candidates should also have a degree in a relevant engineering discipline or sufficient experience.
You will have an understanding of the following:
Mechanical, pneumatical and electrical engineering principles
Validation Testing and End of Life Product Management
Structuring Research and Development projects and potential patents.
Future proofing products with product data collection and consideration of sustainability credentials.
Championing Continuous Improvement activities on product or process
