GP Locum - Rural island Cover GUERNSEY - 14th - 31st December ..

Are you a GP with A&E Experience looking for an interesting experience and available over the festive period?    I have an Island on Guernsey looking for 24/7 on call GP locum cover ...   Wednesday 13 th working from 14 th December until departure Sunday 31 st December   This is a lovely island is just off the French coast 1.5 miles x 3.0 miles with a population of aprox 2,314 people . They have a GP who covers the daytime practice and a 24/7 on call GP. The 24/7 GP covers the cottage hospital (doing a ward round in the mornings) and has the phone OOH for emergencies. The cottage Hospital has 22 beds in total. 14 long stay (for geriatrics) and some Acute beds. Any emergencies get taken from the island to the mainland Southampton. ** Family Accommodation available for the duration**  ** Enhanced rates for the Festive  Bank Holidays ***  There are direct flights from Southampton would be a surgery car you would use while there. You will need to be Fully GMC Registered and on the English , Welsh or Scottish Performers lists to be considered .. (you will need to join Guernseys Performers list but this is a quick process) You will also ideally have BASICS or ALS or be able to show A&E Experience.  Good daily rates - * Paid Gross*     if you are free and interested, please apply!
