Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
Location: Glasgow, Inchinnan, Renfrewshire with some international travel
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to make a significant contribution to the growth of our award–winning, international technology manufacturing business.
THE ROLE: As Financial Planning and Analysis Manager (FP&AM) , you will report to the Interim Group Financial Controller, to help deliver and operate a first-class FP&A function, improving the overall clarity of key decisions across the business
In addition your key tasks will include –
To facilitate effective business decisions through financial modelling – develop, run, and control budget and forecasting processes for the Group.
Create medium- and long-term business plans and projections for all locations and products.
Delivering robust financial analysis to provide insight into business performance and aid decision-making
Financial ratio monitoring
Own key financial KPI’s across the business
Analysis of business financial and operational KPI's to analyse results vs expectations
Analysis of cost centre reporting, examining, and evaluating the cost-efficiency of each department, recommend productivity/cost-saving initiatives
Responsibility for global product profitability and margin analysis
Provide support on pricing decisions
THE CANDIDATE: You will be a qualified Accountant with relevant PQE and be commercially aware with a good understanding of a manufacturing environment and a complex global business. Adaptable and resilient, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be responsive to business change.
In addition you will have :
Strong financial modelling skills
Strong financial accounting background and experience, with an understanding of International Accounting Standards.
Proven track record of challenging existing processes and implementing more efficient and effective procedures
