An excellent opportunity is available for a Consultant in Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery to join a district general hospital located in the south west of Scotland. This is a full time post working with an excellent multi-disciplinary team, you will be working alongside the current Consultant ENT Surgeon and supported by a Specialty Doctor and trainees. You will contribute to the provision of out-patient clinics (general adult and paediatric services) at the main hospital and local community hospital, together with operating sessions.
The hospital is in a beautiful rural location, the cost of living is very affordable and there are excellent schools available for those relocating with children. Crime rates are low also, and there are many opportunities to explore arts and theatre in the local area too. Ongoing Hospital based GP sessions available - Scottish Borders
Head Medical have an ongoing requirement for locum GP out-of-hours cover based in the Scottish Borders General Hospital. We can provide regular shifts most months and are keen to keep continuity as much as possible.
Working as part of the out-of-hours team based within Borders General Hospital, you will see patients referred via NHS 24 and via A&E. You will work as part of this busy team and may on occasion be asked to cover the Covid Hub. Home visits are very rare as usually covered by the nursing team, but in rare circumstances you may be required to attend one.
If interested, we can offer rates of pay of £115 per hour, plus paid travel and accommodation may be provided with appropriate notice.
To be considered for this great opportunity you must have GMC registration with an active licence to practise, as well as being on the Scottish Performers List. Experience of working in a similar setting is essential and you must hold the right to work in the UK.

Hello Theatre Team, I am looking for scrub staff for NHS Western Isles for the end of December and throughout January.
The first post is from Monday 6th January to Friday 17th December and will be 37.5 hours each week. This is a lovely opportunity for a scrub ODP or RN to join the team in Stornoway for two weeks. Your flights/ferry to and from the assignment will be reimbursed, and accommodation is provided.
After the Christmas break, I need two scrub practitioners to work there from January 5th until Friday the 28th of January. The same travel and accommodation offer applies.
You must have current registration with the NMC/HCPC and be eligible to work in the UK. You must also have a minimum of 18 months' post-graduate experience.

Suitable candidates must have the following:
Training and experience in administration of covid vaccines and flu vaccines
Up to date with Basic Life Support and Anaphylaxis training (this can be organised if required)
Ability to work under a PGD
Ability to muse VMT on an iPad to record vaccinations (training will be given)

CHAS does not hold clinical responsibility for children who are not resident at a CHAS hospice. However, increasingly families are being offered choices of place of care at end of life and CHAS may be part of the multi-agency team around children and their families. You will have the opportunity to be part of that collaborative team around the child approach.

I am looking for a team of scrub staff to become part of the regulars who work there. We can be really flexible about how many days you would like to work, so if doing Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 is too much, let me know what you will consider.
The hospital has made the decision to pay mileage for these assignments, which does not happen very often in the Central Belt. You will get £0.45 per mile.
