Sales Order Specialist 6 months - Glasgow, Inchinnan, Renfrewshire THE ROLE: Reporting to the Sales & Service Operations Manager you will be responsible for administering and supporting the purchase order process for Generators, Maintenance Contracts and Service Spares orders. This is an initial 6 month contract with the possibility of extension. Duties will include: Smooth management of daily generator, contract and service spares orders and contributing to timely processing of purchase orders. Developing strong knowledge and understanding of company pricelists, ensuring correct pricing and discount parameters have been applied and policies adhered to. Liaising on a daily basis with the global sales & service team ensuring the accuracy of purchase order information and communicate any quotation, pricing or process discrepancies. Being instrumental in contributing to the successful transition and delivery of SAP B1 within the Sales group and wider business THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate must be a team player with excellent interpersonal communication skills who enjoys working in a fast paced, dynamic environment. You will have: keen attention to detail, a pro-active work ethic and the ability to learn quickly. order processing experience and knowledge of SAP B1 is strongly desirable. problem solving skills and the ability to find solutions to urgent requests. a committed and flexible approach, with a desire to meet team KPI’s.
