THE ROLE: As Global Spare Parts Manager reporting to our Global Service Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and driving sales of spare parts (approx. 6000) and service kits for End Users, OEMs and Distributors, whilst working closely with Regional offices and business functions at HQ. This will include managing pricing in line with global pricing SOP and analysing sales to monitor revenues, volumes, discounts and margins. You will also ensure item and pricing data is accurate and maintained in line with product changes, enabling customers to identify and purchase the correct parts for any given generator.
Other key accountabilities include:
developing the infrastructure to manage our spare parts business
leading and driving revenue and profitability growth
growing existing account business through collaborative account management with General Managers/Territory Managers
working with our Logistics team to ensure reduction in shipping costs.
THE CANDIDATE: A technical, business or marketing-related degree, or equivalent professional qualification would be desirable, in addition you must have a significant track record, including international business exposure, within product development, marketing, sales or service, including spare parts sales and delivery. With a real grasp of markets and customer interface, you have strong negotiation and communication skills, together with first-class leadership and co-operation skills, you can also offer:
a demonstrable ability to work under pressure against tight deadlines
good communications, IT and interpersonal skills.
