Lead the production of Internal and External Reporting Review and report on business monthly, quarterly and annual financial results. Perform regular analytical reviews of Income Statement and Balance Sheets Review Balance Sheet reconciliations Review stock-takes and ensure integrity of valuations and stock levels recorded Working closely with the budget holders to assist the production of accurate monthly management accounts. Active cash flow management and forecasting. Manage and develop the members of the finance team. Supervision of accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers, payroll processing and cash management. Preparation of Direct and Indirect tax returns including VAT, Corporation Tax, CIS and Payroll Taxes Leadership of the external audit and preparation of annual audit schedules. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. Develop and monitor adherence to documented internal control procedures. Support the programme of governance improvements within the finance department including monthly reporting timetable, task responsibility, segregation of duties and journal control sheets.
